“we’re easy company raiders, we’re raiders of the night
we’re dirty sons o’ bitches; we’d rather fuck than fight
we drink up all the whiskey, we drink up all the gin
we take ‘em to the shitter and throw the bastards in
highty tighty, christ almighty, who the fuck are we?
zim zam, god damn, airborne infantry!”—
Oh my gawwwd, Call of Duty: Black Ops had such a great ending. Except the major plot twist was already spoiled for me ‘cause I looked at the wiki. But still — amazing. One of my favorite parts had to be “Push LS and RS rapidly to choke”. The best part was after the credits, though. Not gonna spoil anything for anyone who hasn’t beaten it yet, but after such a serious and near-Inception-level-mindfuck ending, the final cutscene was the best thing ever.
On a side note, Sam Worthington is pretty hot. Even when he’s just a voice actor for the man character.
I don’t understand how people can be bored. I mean, even if I wasn’t in IB and didn’t have a crapload of work to do each night, I’d still be able to occupy myself. Reading, for example — but I know not everyone likes to, so whatever. But I love it. Technically, I’m reading like ten books right now (The Invisible Man, The Illustrated Man, Time Enough For Love, The Two Towers, Glory Road, Crown of Swords, Elric: Stealer of Souls (I know right)), which I really wish I had time for.
Then there’s obviously TV. Mostly I just watch stuff on Netflix, but there are lots of “classic” movies I want to see. Also, I play the harp, and I never practice as much as I’d like to.
Then there’s video games, which can obviously suck up a LOT of time. Especially if you’re me.
I’d also like to start writing (creatively) again.
I know I don’t represent everyone, but it’s still hard to believe when I hear people say they’re bored, or there’s nothing to do. Get a hobby, people.
